Blue Spring Oolong is a rare Ti Kuan Yin Special grade tea from the Fujian province of China.
Blue mallow flowers are added to this oolong tea to represent the crystal blue freshwater spring that was created by Guan Yin,The Iron Goddess of Mercy, to rescue villagers from drought. That said no one is able to recall the exact name of the village concerned!
This tea is traditionally hand crafted in small batches.
Use water that has boiled and cool to about 90°C and brew for 2-7 minutes according to taste. It is usually drunk without milk
The leaves can be used several times, with the third brew said to be the best.
